The rules for using HoopRankr. By using the app you agree to these terms, including risks associated with athletic activity.
Basketball and athletic activities involve inherent risks, including physical injury, permanent disability, property damage, or death. These risks may arise from your own actions, the actions of others, environmental conditions, or equipment.
By using HoopRankr and participating in activities arranged or recorded through the platform, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with athletic participation, whether known or unknown.
Specifically, HoopRankr does not:
All games and activities occur independently of HoopRankr. Users are solely responsible for arranging, conducting, and participating safely in any activities.
You may interact with other users through HoopRankr. We do not verify identities, conduct background checks, or guarantee user behavior. You interact with other users entirely at your own risk, including risks of personal injury, theft, harassment, or other harm.
The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." HoopRankr makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, availability, accuracy, performance tracking, rankings, or uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
HoopRankr does not provide medical advice, fitness instruction, or health supervision. You are solely responsible for assessing your physical readiness, consulting appropriate medical professionals, and making safe participation decisions. Consult a doctor before engaging in strenuous athletic activity.
By posting photos, videos, messages, or other content ("User Content"), you represent that:
HoopRankr is not responsible for User Content and reserves the right to remove or restrict content at any time without notice.
By uploading User Content, you grant HoopRankr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such content solely to operate and improve the Services. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is required for legal or safety purposes.
HoopRankr ratings, rankings, statistics, and performance metrics are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. They do not reflect any official athletic evaluation or professional standing. Ranking systems may be modified at any time without notice.
HoopRankr may suspend or terminate accounts at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. If you delete or deactivate your account, your profile will be hidden and you will lose access.
HoopRankr actively detects cheating, score manipulation, and other platform abuse. We reserve the right to restrict accounts, adjust rankings, or revoke access if abuse is detected. Users agree not to exploit, manipulate, or circumvent any platform feature.
HoopRankr uses automated detection systems and user reporting tools to identify content that violates community standards, including image and video analysis. We do not guarantee detection or removal of all inappropriate content. Users may encounter objectionable content despite these safeguards.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HoopRankr and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, violations of this Agreement, or violations of applicable law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
HoopRankr may update this Agreement at any time. We will notify users of material changes through an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
